Baby Shower

This past weekend my mom and my sisters threw me a baby shower down in Blanding. There were a lot of people gone from blanding, (those of you who were I completely understand) but it was still a lot of fun! It was cute because my mom made it a 4th of July themed baby shower because baby Jace is due July 3rd. Thank you all for all your wonderful gifts and your presence! It's all very much appreciated!

Ups & Downs of Pregnancy

Pregnancy has been so funny for me lately and I'm sure very confusing for Joe. I think my hormones are going wacko because one minute I am pouring my eyes and heart out about how scared I am to be a mom and how I don't want to be pregnant anymore. Then later that night or the next day thinking. . . wow my life is so great I'm so excited for this little one to come and just day dreaming about what he'll be like, while I enjoy him kicking. . . It's just so funny! I'm writing this in my day dreaming mood which is probably for the better!

Women's Conference

Every year it's a tradition for my sisters, my mom and I to come together for women's conference. And every single year it's a blast! I love my girls! We always stay up late talking, go shopping or go out to eat and eat junk food. This year on Wed we went for a spa day and it was a amazing! My pregnant body loved every minute of it! :)

These are all my cousins and aunts that attend as well. We run into them through out the time and even spend wed night eating dinner at my cousin mealisa's house with all of them. They are great!

On the last day of women's conference they always have a general authority or the prophet come speak. This year Elder Perry and Elder Nelson came. We had 3rd row seats to the side so I got some good pictures. Bleow is Elder Perry speaking to us. He's a tall man!

Graduation

This weekend I walked for graduation. At first I didn't know if I wanted to because of being pregnant and uncomfortable but I am really glad I did. The commencement was amazing. President Uchtdorf was one of the speakers and it was awesome! He talked about taking advantage of the time we have in our lives, and every now and then doing an inventory to see if there's anything unimportant that is taking up time. He also received an Honorary Degree. It was also really neat walking with my sister who received her masters. And I was especially blessed to have my parents and inlawas there. It touched me that my inlaws came all the way from New Mexico just to support me. Yea for families and graduation!

6 months into it

I am now a little over 6 months, almost 6 and 1/2 months. I am continuing to grow at a great pace (it seems to me). I now feel most of his movements. It's so crazy to think that just in a couple of months I will be a mom! Wow, what has this world come to? :) But I can't wait! I can't wait to hold him in my arms and see what and who he looks like. I was telling Joe that I feel his little presence more and more, as the time for him to come draws nearer. I know he's a special son of his Heavenly Father and I am humbled to know he's coming to our care.

Mom & Dad 60th Birthday Surprise!

This month both of my parents turn 60. So my sisters and I have had this birthday surprise planned for months. We would all show up at their house without them knowing, ring the door bell, and start singing happy birthday. It has been hard not to slip when my mom has called these past few weeks to talk to us, but we pulled it off with a lot of little white lies. My sister shana even made us all stubbs shirts to be wearing when they opened the door. I have never seen my mom and dad so surprised and so happy! Especially my mom. She was so giddy the rest of the night. She couldn't stop smiling and laughing. She told us it was the greatest present she could have ever recieved as she shed a few tears. I was so glad we were able to do this and make my parents so happy! It was a fun weekend!
