Cousin Army Recruit

So a couple of years ago my oldest Nephew Hayden put together this little thing with all my neices and nephews called the "Cousin Army." It is the cutest thing ever. Hayden had made shirts for all of them. He even gave them positions like, he is the president and general, and another one of my nephews is the vice president and the girls are the nurses. So when Jace was born Hayden made new shirts and even made a little onesie for Jace. Hayden is such a good oldest cousin. It really touches me that he likes include all his little cousins in things. Especially Jace being so young from all the other boys, but what touches me the most is that they decided on their own to dedicate the army to my older brother who passed away at age 15. There's even a little bage on their shirt in the upper left hand corner that has the year he was born and died and his initials. :)

BYU Fans

This past weekend we were invited over to Deco and Kera Lyman's to watch the BYU football gmae. It was so fun even though the game wasn't all that exciting because we creamed them. I think I watched all of maybe 2 minutes of the whole game. It was just fun to chat and talk about new parenting. Also, it was way too cute to see the two babies together. At one point they had the same due date.

Mom's 2 month old Gangster

Jessica (my sister) and I dressed up Jace this morning. It was fun. He got fed up after a while. I guess he doesn't like dress up like us girls do. We tried on these pants... they were a little big so we had to roll them. We also threw on a side ways hat to go with his too big gangster pants. Haha. So much fun! I can't believe he is 2 months old already!! It's crazy!! We went to the doctor this week and he ways 12 lbs 10 onces. He was in the 73rd percentile! Big boy!!

Joe said the hat fits him better than jace. Haha. its kind of true! Why don't they make better hats for new borns?

The Fantasticks musical

To celebrate our aniversary Joe and I went and saw the Fantasticks musical up at the Sundance theatre. It was pretty cute! I think Joe and I more just enjoyed getting out and being together, without the stress of the sweet little one. It was a lot of fun! Anyone who wants to go should! It's a fun experience to do in this Utah county area.

Happy Aniversary!

Joe and I celebrated our 2 year aniversary yesterday!! And I just want to say it's been a GREAT 2 years! I think that we both have grown soo much. Seperately and grown together as well. I love him very very much. I love the support and confidence he is constantly giving me. Especially when I don't believe in myself or can't take it anymore, he is there to lift me up. He is my best friend. He also is the greatest dad. He gets up with Jace at night and helps out in many other ways. He's awesome. I love you Joe!

Jace has recently started socially smiling! He's been doing other sort of smiles from the begining, but nothing like now. I love it! It's my favorite! It makes me feel like I am doing something right as a mom :) And I finally got a picture of it. It's a weird angle but I got one!

My Mother

I just got done reading the story that my mom wrote about when she had me. I barely got through reading it before I was fighting back the tears. She risked her whole life for me because she knew I was supposed to come. The doctors told her it was beyond too dangerous because she would get toxemia really bad with her other pregnancies and by this time she was 38. I am so grateful to her, for her faith and example as a mother. She is at the end of the road of motherhood and is able to look back at the expreriences of raising and having her children, and its nice for a new mother to hear about. I Love You Mom! I hope I am half the mom you are.
