2 weeks old!
Our little Jace is now 2 weeks old! Last post I posted how I was doing emotionally. Thanks for all your comments! They were a lot of help! This week has been a ton much better! He just melts my little heart. Yes I still have my tired moments but it has been good. It has been really nice having my mom and mom walker here to help. They are awesome!

Delivery/ Emotional Roller Coaster
So it all started out at 10 am thursday morning, June 25th. I had a doctors apt and it was my 39 week apt. The doctor came in to check me and he couldn't even reach my cervix because he said I am also very vaginally small, along with one of the smallest pelvis's he's ever seen. So he convinced me to do a C-section which I was pretty okay with because he said I only had about a 10 percent chance of having him vaginally. So we started to talk about when we could do it. . . So as we decided I mentioned I had a sister in town today and tomorrow and was maybe wondering if we could do it the next day. He was very cool about it and said he loves to accomodate family so he said he would check his schedule. He came back and said that he couldn't do it the next day but could do it that afternoon at 4:30 and asked if that was okay. Joe and I nearly had a heart attack thinking about having our baby that afternoon. Way unexpected! But we said yes! By that time it was about noon and we had to be at the hospital by 2:30 for prep work. I have never been so nervous and overwhelmed in my life! Joe said it felt like getting engaged all over again. haha. Anyway that's the story. He was born at 5:04 that afternoon.
Also, this past week has been nuts! I have never been so emotionally crazy in my life. I do not like it one bit. The doctor says it's normal and just to wait it out. It's been better today. I haven't even cried yet. lol. It's crazy! One minute I am totally in love with my baby and the next I am so overwhelmed and stressed that holding him makes me cry. And I have no control over it. Luckily I have a great husband and family around here that lets me take a break during those moments. Also sleep deprivation probably doesn't help. So yeah it's been crazy!

Updated Doc Apt
This morning I went to the doctor and the good news is he checked me! The disapointing but it's okay news is that my cervix is still closed and that his head is still pretty high. He also told me that I am really small and he doesn't even know that the baby will be able to drop because he's already a pretty good sized baby, but that we will see how the next week goes and see if I have progressed. So I asked him about all my contractions and the lower inner vaginal pain I have been feeling. He told me that he doesn't doubt that my body is doing things to get me into labor, and that I could still go into labor, but that the baby might not drop even if I did, but he could it's just hard to know. So I guess we will just see! And I will continue with the waiting game :)

3 More Weeks! / Frustrating Doc Apt
We are now on the count down with this pregnancy! I becam 37 weeks along this past week so I am now full term. He is more than welcome to come anytime! I am so excited and so ready to be done! It feels like I have been pregnant forever! And I am way excited to meet this little boy who is way too strong and big to be in my stomache anymore. :)
Also, this past week I really wanted to see how I was progressing labor wise. I really wanted him to check me so I could get a better idea of what my body is doing and where I am at since I have been having so many contractions. I know that could mean nothing or something, that's why I wanted to know, but my doctor was busy so another doctor at the office saw me and she refused to check me, but my doctor said he would have. I was so disapointed leaving my apt. Another reason why I want to know is because if my cervix is favorable my doctor said he would be fine to induce me at 39 weeks. Which I have heard the horror stories with inducing, but I don't care with how much contractions keep me up at night I just want it to be over.
